Cambridge Business Chamber Annual Golf Day 2022 powered by Craig's Investment partners

Last Friday, the Cambridge Business Chambers Annual 2022 Golf Tournament powered by Craigs Investment Partners took place.

The sun, our 18 teams of competitors, several amazing helpers on the ground, caterers, hosts at the Golf Club and Hole sponsors turned out for a winning day at the Cambridge Golf Club.

Firstly, A huge thankyou goes out to our naming rights sponsor Craig’s investment partners, who not only helped this event happen but made sure our players had some drinks at hand on the first 9.

We also had our incredible hole sponsors, we had Absolute Café bring sorbet for the occasion and Cambridge Raceway with a trailer full of duck island ice-cream and ADS with an eye catching set up on hole 9. Westpac, Paua, Mo-Re real-estate, Lewis Lawyers, NZLourves, Unichem Cambridge, Grinters, Waipa Networks, Herbert Morton, St John’s Cambridge and Media Works as hole sponsors, contributed to our raffle and prizes, brought along helpers and players. Jennian Homes even brought along some much-appreciated shelter for our raffle desk and welcome hub. Thank you again to all of our hole sponsors for helping make this event a success.

With $600 raised in support of St John Cambridge with our raffle on Friday. We would love to acknowledge and thank everyone who contributed too and supported the raffle on the day with prizes from Officemax, Footloose, Bike Hike Stay, Air New Zealand, Noel Leeming, New World Cambridge, 5Starsolutions, Over the Moon, Alpha Street Bar and kitchen, Lewis Lawyers and Onyx.

Our closest to the pin champ, sponsored by Lewis Lawyers, on the first 9 at Hole 8, was Simon Hepple. On the second 9 at Hole 13 Murray Carter took out the prize. We even had a ‘guess the golf ball’ competition from Cambridge Raceway which Jack from the Cambridge High School team won.

One team stood out in bright red “oh la la fashion”, with a French inspired, baguette swinging,  moustache wearing ensemble, that was simply très Bien! Congratulations to Flexi Tanks who took away best dressed this year!

Our top placing teams for the day were Herbert Morton in 4th, The Lime group in 3rd and our Runner up with 2nd on the day was Forsyth Barr. Congratulations to all our teams and thankyou to The Glass Printery for providing our trophy’s for the day.

With bragging rights for 2022, the champs of the day, our first-place winners at the 2022 Annual CBC Tournament powered by Craigs, was Jennian Homes! Congratulations to Howard, Kris, Marty and Darin who made up the winning team from Jennian homes.

A final thank you to everyone who participated, contributed, engaged and supported this years event. We will be sure to keep you posted on the next event, until then visit our gallery with images from the day. CLICK HERE.
