Kelly joined the Cambridge Business Chamber in October 2018, having celebrated the move to Cambridge from Waiheke Island.
Kelly has had extensive experience across a myriad of industries, National sales manager for a number of high profile companies, General manager for Touchdown Productions, Sales and Marketing manager of the Waiheke Weekender and Gulf News and the owner and operator of Waiheke’s iconic Schooner Café.
Alongside her diverse range of skills, she will bring to the role, Kelly has also led and developed high performing teams and guided prominent companies through times of organisational change and crisis management.
“The Chamber Business Chamber makes a real difference within our businesses community through cohesive strategies, advocacy and deliverables, making the difference that matters amongst a fast paced and changing environment here in Cambridge”.
Leadership and support for our business community is essential given the high impact on business as a direct result of the Pandemic.
Aroha Croft

Aroha is a well recognized face in Cambridge, as she was with Onyx Café and Restaurant for over 10 years and recently she and husband Aaron have embarked on their own business ‘Smoke Collective Barbecue Joint” in carters flat they also run gourmet food trucks that cater festivals, private events, weddings and celebrations.
“I’m really excited about this position,” Aroha said. “I’m out for a new challenge, and tying that in with my love for Cambridge and the business side of things is absolutely ideal.”
“I have a solid love for this place, and being a part of its growth through this new job is quite thrilling,” she said.
Aroha has been actively involved in the Cambridge Business Chamber as a member whilst she was with Onyx and she won the Waipa District Business Awards Cambridge Employee of the Year Award in 2013.
Felicity Mehrtens

Felicity shares the role of Membership Coordinator alongside Aroha, and is also involved in running her own business, Water Tank Solutions, alongside her husband. She pursues a passion for art and illustration in her free time.
A long time Cambridge resident, Felicity is proud to belong to this thriving and supportive community and to support businesses and business owners in our region.

Felicity has owned and managed businesses with a range of different models, including; importing, wholesale, manufacturing, retail, services and contracting and understands the unique stresses faced by business owners today.
She is also qualified in public relations and communications management. She looks forward to using her skills to support and help Chamber Members.
