COVID-19 Response (Vaccination Requirements): Cambridge Business Chamber - Event Attendance Policy

Frequently Asked Questions

Cambridge Business Chamber (CBC) events have been greatly impacted by New Zealand’s Delta outbreak.

To protect the health and safety of our staff and member business community, CBC will host events with vaccination entry requirements under the NZ Government’s new Covid-19 Protection Framework. Operating in this way is essential for providing certainty for our member business community, as it means we will be able to continue to operate under each level, with restrictions as required, instead of needing to cancel or postpone events due to Covid-19.

What was the outcome of the Risk Assessments?

Through the Health and Safety Risk Assessments of CBC’s day-to-day business and events, it is
decided all involved (staff/attendees*) would be at risk from Covid-19 and as such attendees* should be vaccinated.

  • Who does this requirement to be vaccinated apply to?

All CBC staff and physical attendees of CBC events and visitors to the CBC office in the National

  • When does this come into effect?

CBC aims to become fully operable under the Government’s Covid-19 Protection Framework no later than 31 December 2021

  • How do I submit my proof of vaccination?

We will utilise the approved tools available for vaccination evidence and will provide capability when registering for events.

  • I have only received my first vaccination. Can I still attend?

No. Our policy is that all physical attendees must be fully vaccinated. This decision is to protect the health and safety of all CBC staff and all attendees.

  • Will I still have to wear a mask if I’m vaccinated?

The CBC will be guided by the COVID Protection Framework

This is an evolving situation, and we will continue to review our policy to ensure it remains relevant and aligned to new developments.
We appreciate your understanding. If you have a question about our policy, our events or any of the above, please contact CBC CEO Kelly Bouzaid via email
