What our members say......

Kerry Saberton - Jigsaw Professional Development

" New to Cambridge, I joined the Chamber with the aim of developing my business network in the Waikato. I have only been a member for the Chamber for a short time and already I am reaping business and personal benefit from this open, friendly and welcoming group.

I highly recommend that you take the plunge.  As they say ' you reap what you sow' - the Chamber has already proved to be one of my best business decisions for 2016."

Statement of Purpose

Better Business, Better Community
No other organization represents the business community like a Chamber of Commerce.

Our Purpose
The Cambridge Business Chamber engages with the broader community, is engaged in economic recovery and advocates for a healthier economy.

Positive Connections
We focus on creating meaningful connections that help our business community survive and thrive and connect our members with customers, mentors, regional business partners and resources.

Business Growth
We strive to assist the growth of local business through effective promotion and business development opportunities. Our Totally Locally Cambridge brand, Chamber Business Search, Waikato.nxtstep.co.nz and Virtual Cambridge are tangible products in our business toolbox.

Community Engagement
Chambers have long been the face of, and advocates for, business but as any chamber professional knows, they do a lot more in the community than just business. Chambers serve as connectors for their community in common activities.

Collaborative Advocacy
With a focus on advocacy toward a healthy economy and aligning business, council and government, we can provide a voice for initiatives relevant to our members. Covid-19 saw a number of agencies including Te Waka and the Chambers of Commerce working closely together in support of our business community.
We shared resources and insights, collaborated on information and data to enhance the support chain, information, advocacy and voice of the Waikato business sector.
We continue this journey during the economic recovery of our region.
