Our Inspiring Young Athletes

It was an absolute pleasure to hear from three inspiring young athletes at this month's Networking over Coffee hosted by High Performance Sport NZ at the impressive Avatidrome facility. 

Tom, Anna and Samantha spoke passionately about their sport's and their aspirations to represent New Zealand at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. They offered interesting insights into the commitment and sacrifices needed to compete at the highest levels, as well as some of the ongoing barriers they face.
Most impressively, all of these athletes have also performed extremely well academically while pursuing their sporting dreams. 
Cambridge is proud to be home and host to many current and upcoming athletes, and as a business community, we recognise the many benefits athletes and their families bring to our town.
