Waikato-born, I am a keen-serving member of the Cambridge community, with a career in a wide range of industry; everything from hands-on wood-working, through to management of plumbing and gas fitting businesses, furniture manufacture, along with owning a Retirement Village, and funeral home in the south island before returning to the Waikato. Currently the owner of Grinter’s Funeral Home in Cambridge, and Rosetown Funeral Home in Te Awamutu. It is a privilege to guide and help people in our community in times of grief with love and respect.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR CAMBRIDGE CHAMBER?
My vision is to help grow the Chamber’s community reach, to work with more businesses, and to promote Cambridge as the great place to be that it is. The growth of Cambridge residential has been at a great pace. With this comes the influx of skilled workforce and personal who want to create or bring businesses to our town.
THE SKILLS & QUALITIES I WILL BRING TO ACHIEVE THAT SUCCESS
As a member of the Cambridge business community, I’m passionate about making Cambridge a better place for everyone. I have always liked helping people and making a positive change where possible. I see the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce as a platform to help me to continue to help others with a community spirited focus. As a business owner, and 1st VP for the Cambridge Lions, I plan to see continued growth in in the town.
